One day, while working in a cleaning service, we received an order to clean a girl’s house. Her friend came to us to help, because the owner of the house was seriously ill and could barely walk. When we entered, I saw a tired, but incredibly kind girl in front of me, who had difficulty even moving around the house. This was the moment that changed everything. I suddenly realized that there were a lot of people like her who needed help, and they remained unnoticed. That was when I first thought: how great it would be to create an organization that could help such people.
But, as sometimes happens, after cleaning, we lost the girl’s contacts and address. Many months passed, and one day we were given a new address for cleaning. When we arrived, I was amazed: we were again with the same girl! This was a real sign of fate. It was bitter for me to realize that I had lost the opportunity to help her earlier, but now I was happy, because we found each other again.
Her name was Yolanda. When I got to know her better, I saw what incredible strength this girl possessed. Later, we met her mother – a sweet, kind and very beautiful woman. At that moment, I finally understood that creating a charity that would provide free cleaning services is not just an idea. It is a necessity, a real way to help those who really need it.
This is how Pure Kindness was born – the only organization in the United States that provides free cleaning services for those who cannot cope on their own. Yolanda and her story became an inspiration for us. We continue to work so that more people can receive much-needed help, because a clean home is not just order, it is warmth and care.
